My first post from the new iPhone… It rocks
I found the following quote in the “Upgrading WordPress” documentation:
Consider rewarding yourself with a blog post about the upgrade, reading that book or article you’ve been putting off, or simply sitting back for a few moments and let the world pass you by.
so here goes.. the first suggestion anyway. Reading a book or article seemed like a more time consuming task than writing a post. That said, the new WordPress release seems very nice. I like the WYSIWYG editor very much. Gets the jobs done without confusing people.. and is still able to be pretty.
It also seems like WordPress is a very mature platform to build small websites, something that we already use both WordPress and Drupal for at work. I’m a little anoyed with both systems, because I find it very hard to choose what I like best. As a technicial Drupal is very nice and even though the administration interface is very user-friendly and pretty I just love to do stuff in WordPress (the administration anyway). The new version have only improved things..
I updated the theme so it’s a little less boring. We doing some exiting stuff at Coniuro these days, so hopefully these things will succeed soon and I will present them on the blog.
The blog is now hosted at coniuro, so I don’t have to wait 10 min to see my own blog :) Now we’re only waiting for Mads to do dirty tricks to the static files.
